Handmade

Well it’s not much, but let’s say it’s not the quantity, but the quality what we count 😉 New teddies almost popping into my etsy shop:

first up is Oak with Dutsy (a talking parrot who only says nice things, so far)

then we have Nidas and tiny Sol (duckling who thinks Nidas is his mom)

Bigger boys:

no name 1

no name 2

no name 3

I’ve also finished one of the two things I’ve started knitting

It was for my little set – all for a gorgeous little boy Emlyn, our friend’s first born

I’m quite proud of my linen bibs 🙂

I admit, I like making small things mainly because I like fitting with tiny details and love sowing by hand, so anything that requires sowing machine is a much bigger challenge for me, but I’m getting there :).  I made my first mini linen trousers, crap picture, but those pants are definitely not! 🙂

To be continued…

Nature is good, but what is really good – it’s me in it.

I grew up in a town, far away from UK (having said that, most of my summers were spent in a very green and very beautiful big village and I honestly loved it). In my teens I moved to even bigger town. After that there was life in a relatively small capital. The next step was London. I guess from here it will go backwards… Or that’s what I hope for. I love love London, also because we have a lot of parks and quite a few of them are truly amazing, but my soul is longing for a quieter, greener and more relaxed life. And I wish my kids grow up with far more freedom and in touch with dear nature.

I love trees

All of them

I want to plant some.

Nature aside, my toys are finally in the shop.

my first ever book I wrote…

Have a lovely week!

Davy for Rose

I found out about little Rose via Little Cotton Rabbits.

I also so want to help. And I would love you to help so that it ends up as WE HELP ROSE. Wouldn’t you hope for a support and some sort of participation from others if that would be your child in Rose’s place? I would. It doesn’t necessarily need to be something big – £1 from one and each of you reading this post could end up in a round and very much appreciated, even more so needed sum of money that could very likely make a real difference to at least 4 people, that’s the Willcocks family. If you can – participate: spread the word, donate…

As my participation I’ve got Davy, a sweet little mohair teddy. He stands at 12.5cm or 4.9inches tall and comes in a small wooden box along with some felt goodies: a tiny snail called Slow (Davy’s best friend), a Christmas tree, a party hat and some yummy sugar coated doughnuts with a bottle of milk (teddies favourite comfort food 😉 ) that fits in a handy basket. Davy can sit, move his little arms and legs + comes with a hand knitted hat and a scarf to keep him warm. There’s one more item, not shown, that will come in the box – a little surprise!

Davy is up for an auction here. And he will go to the person who offers the highest bid by 11pm 22/11/2007. Use the comments bellow for your offers. All proceeds will go to the Rose fund.

Davy

Here he’s, ready for a big mission with devoted friend Slow by his side:

All of it can be yours, or a present for somebody…

Thank you for taking your time, HUGE THANKS to those who want to help and good luck!
